'Bobs blobs' is a technique for painting a portrait in watercolor. This technique was proposed by the Australian painter Robert Wade, and developed in his book watercolor workshop handbook published in 2002 by 'International artist publishing'. This technique is also discussed on the following tutorial of the watercolour New-Zealand society web site.
